Chabine Tucker is an Ottawa Elite Coach who focuses on skill development, tactical understanding, and mental toughness, pushing players to challenge themselves and strive for excellence while providing guidance and support. He also serves as a coach and trainer for Evolution Basketball.
Tucker's playing career includes time with the Carleton University Ravens Men's Basketball Team. He played for Carleton during the 1998-99, 1999-00, and 2000-01 seasons. In the 2000-01 season, Carleton was the CIAU Consolation Winner and OUA Second Place, with a league record of 21-1 and overall record of 32-6.
Beyond coaching, Chabine Tucker is a Sergeant with the Ottawa Police Service. He has been involved in community engagement initiatives, including the Ottawa Police HoopStars program, where he volunteers his time to play basketball with children across the city to foster positive relationships between youth and police. He has also been involved in programs like "Car Seats for Newcomers," which provides car seats to new mothers leaving the hospital, demonstrating his commitment to community service. He has worked with the Diversity & Race Relations section and the Strategic Partnerships and Engagement Unit of the OPS, engaging with various community groups and addressing issues such as fraud prevention and discrimination.
