Robin Bourke is a former varsity track and field athlete, OUA gold medallist, CIS gold medallist, and first-team All-Canadian athlete. He has also competed in basketball, soccer, rugby, and rowing. Currently Robin focuses on weight training and yoga and brings a conditioning focus to the team.
Robin’s coaching and leadership background includes 10 years of adventure guiding and leadership courses including whitewater, sea kayaking and mountains trips. He is a certified arctic rescue and survival instructor and has trained remote field workers in the far north of Canada in wilderness first aid, ice rescue, swift water rescue, arctic survival and other skills. He led teams on field programs across the arctic while he was working as a consulting engineer in northern Canada and currently leads a team of engineers and scientists in the Disaster / Emergency Management field.
