Sean Semerjian brings a wealth of experience as both a player and a coach to Ottawa Elite. A former NCAA Division III athlete, Sean began his coaching career in 2020 with the Ottawa Shooting Stars before joining the BGC Thunderbolts as an Assistant Coach from 2022 to 2024. He also served as an assistant coach with La Cité College for two seasons, starting in 2023.

Sean joined Ottawa Elite for the 2024–2025 season, where he made an immediate impact by helping lead his U13 team to an EOBA Championship and a CYBL Division 3 title in his first year. Specializing in player development, Sean has worked with athletes from the grassroots level to the professional ranks, focusing on skill enhancement, basketball IQ, and overall growth.

In addition to his work with Ottawa Elite, Sean was recently named an Assistant Coach with the Carleton Ravens men’s basketball program, beginning in the summer of 2025. His passion for teaching the game and developing players continues to be the foundation of his coaching philosophy.
