SIDNEY KAMERBEEK - Head Coach Ottawa Elite JUEL Prep U16 Girls Team
| The OYBA welcomes Sidney Kamerbeek as Head Coach of the Ottawa Elite JUEL Prep U16 Girls Team. Sidney returns to the OYBA, having been an Assistant Coach with the Ottawa Elite JUEL U19 Girls Team for the past 3 years. She is a former JUEL player and has coached varsity basketball at Glebe Collegiate and with Ottawa Shooting Stars. Sidney looks forward to coaching the Ottawa Elite JUEL Prep U16 Girls Team this year! |

DAVE MALOWSKI - Assistant Coach Ottawa Elite JUEL Prep U16 Girls Team
| The OYBA welcomes Dave Malowski back to the JUEL program this season. Dave has been involved in coaching for over 30 years at various levels. He has also been a Physical Education teacher for over 30 years and has been Head Coach of the Glebe Gryphons Senior Girls Basketball Team for a number of those years. Dave is a graduate of the National Coaching Institute with an Advanced Diploma. He is a Certified Train to Compete Basketball Coach having also completed the NCCP Master Learning Facilitator for Learn to Tran and Train to Train Courses, the NCCP Master Evaluator for Learn to Train and Train to Train Coaches courses, the NCCP Master Learning Facilitator or Evaluators course and the NCCP Fundamentals Learning Facilitator course. Dave was the Technical Director for the Ottawa Shooting Stars Basketball Club and was Head Coach of the first JUEL of Ontario Girls Championship Team based out of Ottawa. |
SYDNEY GRAPER - Assistant Coach Ottawa Elite JUEL Prep U16 Girls Team
| The OYBA welcomes Sydney Graper as Assistant Coach of the Ottawa Elite JUEL Prep U16 Girls Team. Sydney is currently completing her Master's Degree in Human Kinetics at Ottawa University. She comes to us having played for Laurentian University and is now looking to stay involved in the sport she loves by coaching. Sydney hopes to contribute by applying several sports psychology concepts to enhance personal and athletic performance. Welcome Sydney! |
NATALIE LIGUORI - Assistant Coach Ottawa Elite JUEL Prep U16 Team
| Natalie graduated from the University of Ottawa after playing basketball for five years. She graduated as the captain of the team and with honours in school, studying human kinetics and hopes to further her education in teaching. Natalie has been playing basketball for many years with the Barrie Royals basketball program before starting her university career. She loves working with young athletes to help them reach their full potential as athletes and as people! Welcome Natalie to the coaching staff! |
CHRIS TESSIER - Head Coach Ottawa Elite JUEL U19 Girls Team
| The OYBA welcomes Chris Tessier back to the OYBA this season as Head Coach of the Ottawa Elite JUEL U19 Girls Team. Chris returns to the OYBA with15+ years of coaching experience. He has been the Head Coach of girls basketball at various levels throughout his career including Ottawa South Bedrock, Goulbourn Hornets AAA Girls Team, Ottawa Elite U19 Girls Team and most recently the Ottawa Elite JUEL Prep U16 girls team. Chris has also been involved as Assistant Coach of the Ontario Basketball Association's girls' U14 and U16 Summer Development teams including the U16 Girls Team that won the Summer Games in 2014. Chris is looking forward to coaching the Ottawa Elite JUEL U19 Girls Team this year! |
