Congrats to our Ottawa Elite (2004) U14/13U Boys Team who won the Jr. Hoophall Boston Tournament on the weekend!

Leading scorer 6'3 Point Guard Nathan Christopher paced the team with 26.0 ppg including a 36 point outing (8 made threes). 6'2.5 forward Daniel Muila was second in scoring with a 20.0 ppg average including a 31 point explosion. 6'2.5 Guard Alex Woelher had a good showing with 17 points in game 2.  Muila, brother of 6'8 David Muila, is viewed as one of top young forwards in the country due to the combination of his sheer size and scoring touch. As Mulia continues to improve his speed and quickness he will ascend up to the top of the class of 2023 rankings.

Ottawa Elite U14 in game four defeated one of the most known Nike EYBL members Expression Elite (Boston) in an affair that featured a large amount of athleticism, skill, and hustle on display. Muila dominated the paint, while Christopher connected with frequency from downtown.

The Tournament MVP was awarded to Nathan Christopher who is making an early stake at the top of the 2004 Canadian rankings.

Coach Aaron Blakely was asked about his young team and said "Coaching this particular team for the first year means that I am trying to mold good habits technically, tactically, and from a work ethic perspective. Attendance,  consistent effort, and humility will be three important facets to their success going forward."

MVP Christopher,  widely viewed as a top 3 prospect nationally got a lot of US attention during the weekend and is wished success at following in the footsteps of other Top 5 Canadian prospects Eddie Ekiyor, Marial Shayok, Lual Akot, and #1 ranked Muon Reath.

Christopher and Muila are undoubtedly top 10 Canadian prospects.
