Any player who accepts a position on an Ottawa Youth Basketball Academy team is making a firm commitment to the team and does not qualify for a refund of registration fees. We encourage all potential players and parents to ask questions of the coaching staff before and during try-outs and to consider their commitment to playing at this level before being selected for a position on a team. This policy is intended to ensure those who really want to play are not displaced by those without a firm commitment to participation. 
Under certain circumstances and based on individual cases the OYBA may consider refund requests as follows:

On or before September 31st – minus a $50.00 administration fee
October 1 - October 31st – 50% refund of registration fee
After October 31st – NO refund

ALL REFUND REQUESTS MUST BE SENT BY THE PAYER TO THE OYBA ADMINISTRATOR IN WRITING BY EMAIL.
